The National Investigations Bureau (NIB) has questioned the Minority Chief Whip, Frank Annoh-Dompreh, over comments he made allegedly inciting New Patriotic Party (NPP) supporters against supporters of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC).
The Minority Chief Whip, who also serves as the Member of Parliament for Nsawam Adoagyiri, urged members of his party last week to strongly oppose the NDC. He made the comments concerning the disputed Ablekuma North parliamentary election.
The NIB questioned him as part of an investigation to determine the motive behind his alleged inciteful comment.

Background
The Minority Chief Whip and MP for Nsawam Adoagyiri, Frank Annoh-Dompreh, urged members of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) to firmly support their fellow party members in all political situations.
According to him, no NPP member should hesitate to defend a fellow party member if they find them in trouble.
He made this statement at the residence of the NPP parliamentary candidate for Ablekuma North, Akua Afriyie, on Thursday, February 6.
