NEIP Launches Presidential Pitch Session 5
The National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP), in partnership with the Ministry of Finance, has officially launched the 2024 Presidential Pitch Session 5 competition, themed “Youth Entrepreneurship: Power and Responsibilities.” This initiative aims to empower young entrepreneurs by turning their business ideas into successful ventures and creating jobs.
The Deputy CEO of NEIP, Ms. Abigail Swad Laryea, announced that this year’s competition will encompass five key sectors: Agriculture, Manufacturing and Processing, Fintech and Technology, TVET, and Tourism and Creative Arts. Additionally, the competition is open to other innovative business ideas.

Ms. Abigail Swad Laryea emphasized that the eligibility criteria remain unchanged. Applicants must be Ghanaian citizens with creative, innovative, and feasible business ideas that demonstrate scalability and impact.
The competition is designed to empower young entrepreneurs, providing them with the necessary support to turn their ideas into successful businesses and create employment opportunities. The application website has been launched, and interested entrepreneurs are encouraged to apply.
Following an evaluation process, the top 30 finalists will be narrowed down to the top 10. These finalists will present their business ideas to the President at the Movenpick Ambassador Hotel. Ms. Abigail Swad Laryea revealed that the overall winner will receive a grand prize of 300,000 cedis.
