The National Service Authority (NSA) has announced a complete transition to a cashless payment system through GHANA.GOV.
The initiative, according to the Authority, aligns with the government’s modernization efforts in revenue collection.
In a statement, the NSA directed that effective immediately, all user agencies and stakeholders must make payments, including the 20% and 10% administrative charges, through the digital platform.
“Payments can be made 24/7 via www.ghana.gov.gh or by dialing *222# on mobile networks,” the statement said.
Additionally, payments can be initiated through personnel dashboards or via invoices sent to HR or Finance representatives.
GHANA.GOV offers multiple seamless payment options, including debit and credit cards, mobile money, online banking, QR code payments, direct transfers, SWIFT, and ACH transfers.
Meanwhile, the NSA has strictly prohibited manual payments to staff at district, regional, or headquarters offices.
“Stakeholders are encouraged to embrace this system to streamline processes and support Ghana’s cashless economy vision,” it added.
