MTN Ghana spreads Y’ello Cheer to Christmas Babies in Savannah Region

MTN Ghana has once again demonstrated its commitment to touching lives and supporting communities through the continuation of its annual “Spreading Y’ello Cheer to Our Christmas Babies” initiative—a heart-warming tradition that celebrates babies born on Christmas Day and the courageous mothers who bring them into the world.

On Thursday, 26 December 2025, MTN Ghana extended this gesture of love to the Savannah Region, donating a total of 30 baby hampers to Salaga Hospital and St Anne Catholic Hospital in the East and West Gonja Municipalities, respectively.

The hampers, carefully prepared with essential baby and maternal care items, were presented to mothers who delivered on Christmas Day, bringing smiles, hope, and relief during the festive season.

Some of the donations were also extended to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at St Anne Catholic Hospital, as part of MTN Ghana’s nationwide Christmas Babies initiative, which is being implemented across all 16 regions of Ghana. This year’s campaign will see 700 baby hampers distributed to selected hospitals nationwide, including teaching hospitals, regional hospitals, municipal hospitals, and faith-based health facilities.
