MTN Ghana makes waves in environmental sustainability

As part of its Sustainability Week Celebrations, MTN Ghana on Thursday partnered with Mckingtorch Africa and Buzstop Boys to clean up the Sakumono Mighty Beach near Junction Mall.

This two-hour exercise brought together MTN staff and members of the two organisations to collect and segregate waste, including bottles, footwear, Styrofoam, and fabric wastes, for recycling.

The beach, once a haven for mangroves, bird species, and sea turtles, had fallen victim to pollution from poorly constructed storm drains in the city.

The goal is to regularly clean the beach, enhancing its tourism potential and promoting environmental awareness.
