The death is announced of Mrs. Felicia Akua Darkwaa Twum-Barima, which sad event occurred on Tuesday, 25th February 2025.
She was the wife of the late Prof. Kankam Twum-Barima and the mother of her Ladyship Justice (rtd) Amma Abuakwaa Gaisie, Mrs. Akosua Kwabuaa Shaa Yankey, Ms. Akosua Asaa Twum-Barima (United Kingdom), Mrs. Adwoa Aninwaa Badoe (Canada), and Mr. Kofi Karikari Twum-Barima.
She was also the grandmother of Afua Kesewa Gaisie, Afua Gyasiwa Gaisie-Nyaaba, and Asabea Afranowa Gaisie; Esi Betwi Yankey Amankwah, Kosi Antwiwaa Yankey-Ayeh, Kofi Korofu Yankey, Kobina Nketsia Yankey; Piers and Essie Buckman; Wynne, Matthew, and Stephanie Badoe; and Felicia, Kojo, Nana Yaw, Kwame, and Kwaku Twum-Barima.
A remembrance service in her honour is scheduled for Tuesday, 4th March 2025 at 8:00 am at St. James Catholic Church, Osu, Accra.
