Minority Leader of Ghana’s 8th Parliament has tasked the President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo do as a matter of urgency stop the redevelopment of land close to the airport on the Gifford road in Accra.

Addressing the media in Parliament after the Appointment Committee vetting, Hon. Haruna Iddrisu further added that he has discovered with facts findings that the Agricultural Ministry in a cohort will Ghana’s Lands Commission is working hand in hand to give away this land on the Gifford Road to a private entity.

Parliament’s Minority Leader further emphasized that the said land is very close to the airport and for security reasons not good for the country.

He again appeal for an immediate halt of any process to give away this land to a private entity called Inock holdings.
