Milovan Rajevac, the coach of the Black Stars, was in Milan to witness Edmund Addo play for Sherrif Tiraspol versus Inter Milan in the UEFA Champions League at the San Siro.
On Tuesday night, Sheriff suffered their first defeat of the season, losing 3-1 to the Serie A champions.
After the game, Edmund Addo, who rose to prominence after his team’s excellent performance against Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabau, met with the Black Stars coach. Milovan Rajevac was also in attendance to see the Ghanaian midfielder play for the Moldovan team.
Edmund Addo started the game for Sheriff Tiraspol and played 74 minutes before being replaced.
The 21-year-old might earn his first call-up to the Black Stars for the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier between Ethiopia and South Africa in November.
