Meet the press: Mahama lists 10 things being implemented by government

In a candid and wide-ranging interaction with the media on Wednesday, September 10, President John Dramani Mahama outlined 15 key initiatives currently being implemented by his administration, signalling a renewed commitment to national development and transparent governance.

Speaking during a live press engagement, the President addressed pressing national issues — from economic stabilisation and infrastructure development to education and energy reforms — offering both updates and justifications for the government’s direction.

The encounter, which drew keen interest from the public and political observers alike, marked a pivotal moment in the administration’s efforts to communicate its priorities directly to Ghanaians.

Joy FM’s Kojo Akoto Boateng summarises the ongoing initiatives into 15 key points from the President’s answers after hours of grilling by journalists:

•             Inauguration of Ghana Medical Trust Fund governing board soon.
