The Founder and CEO of Margins ID Group, Moses Baiden, has received the Industry Innovation Excellence Award at the 2025 Millennium Excellence Awards (MEA), marking his third consecutive recognition.
Previous honours include the Technology and Innovation Award in 2015 and “Man of the Year” in 2022.
Held every five years under the patronage of Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, Asantehene, the MEA is one of Ghana’s most prestigious events, celebrating individuals whose work significantly advances the country’s development.
Mr. Baiden was recognised for his leadership in digital identity and technology innovation.
Accepting the award on his behalf, Deputy CEO Kwesi Baiden reaffirmed Margins ID Group’s commitment to building secure, scalable, and inclusive identity platforms tailored to African needs. He described the award as a testament to the company’s drive for innovation and excellence.
Margins ID Group, a fully Ghanaian-owned enterprise, has grown into Sub-Saharan Africa’s largest certified identity solutions provider. Under Mr. Baiden’s leadership, the entire Ghana Card ecosystem has been conceptualised and executed by local talent, showcasing Ghana’s technological independence in a field often dominated by foreign systems.
