She continued that the vision of Kedland International School is to provide a learning environment where students are inspired to reach their full potential and equipped with the knowledge and skills to navigate a complex and interconnected world.

“Kedland International School is a place where knowledge will be imparted, where dreams will be nurtured, and where future leaders will be shaped. We believe that by harnessing their intellectual, physical, social, and moral abilities, we will develop children who are knowledgeable, smart, and confident to face the future. Our approach is to adopt the Early Years Foundation.

The early year’s foundation stage (EYFS) sets standards for the learning, development, and care of children from birth to 5 years.

She added that “Also, our vision extends to develop open-minded and creative thinkers who will meet the challenges of future generations and this we intend to do by providing exceptional care to our Kedland angels.

We believe that by harnessing their intellectual, physical, social, and moral abilities, we will develop children who are knowledgeable, smart, and confident to face the future,” she noted.

She also took time to explain the school’s assessment system and how it will operate.

“When it comes to assessments, your child’s progress will be reviewed when they’re between 2 and 3 years old. Their class teacher will assess them at the end of the school year when they turn 5.

The assessment is based on classroom observation – your child won’t be tested. It uses the early learning goals, which can be found in the early years framework.

My deepest appreciation to all those who have made this vision a reality. our supportive parents, dedicated teachers, and committed staff”Mrs Naomi Odonkor concluded.
