A former Deputy Minister for Communication in the Mahama administration has been re-elected as an MP aspirant for the NDC in the Abura Asebu-Kwamankese constituency for the 2024 elections.
Felix Kwakye Ofosu was re-elected after he polled 830 against his contender Professor Nana Ama Browne Klutse who got 571 votes at the just-ended NDC primaries on Saturday, May 13, 2023.
The vociferous politician won in 2019 to represent the largest opposition party as an MP but he lost in the 2020 general elections.
Mr Kwakye Ofosu’s recent win is the second consecutive time he has been given the mandate by his constituents to lead them into an election.
