The Ashanti Regional Coordinating Council has asked students of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) to leave campus by Saturday, September 18 over an impending attack.

According to a statement by the regional security council, a group of students is planning to cause disturbances at the school ahead of the coming vacation.

The statement said the school’s security alert has been activated and only students authorized to stay on campus after Saturday will be allowed to stay.
