KING AND DATH

Ghanaian artiste Tony Dath has made a bold prediction about King Paluta’s chances in the upcoming Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMAs).

Tony made the statement in an interview on Daybreak Hitz with Andy Dosty, while touting the successes Kumerica has chalked in the past years.

After mentioning some of the Kumericans making their community proud, he named King Paluta as a potential winner of the 2025 TGMA.

“I’m here today to let Ghanaians know that Kumerica is still alive and it’s still bringing artistes like myself, Beeztrap KOTM, Kojo Ray, and King Paluta who is the next Artiste of the Year, with facts. Kumerica is here to stay because 2024, back to back, from ‘Makoma’ to the rest,” Tony Dath said.

When asked about King Paluta’s transition from rapping to singing, Tony Dath expressed his surprise after watching him record in the studio.

“A lot of people were disappointed. I wasn’t because he’s my senior brother. I’ve been to the studio backstage, watched him, and said no, he has a singing part,” he stated.
