The People’s National Convention(PNC) has refuted the claim that David Apasera and Moses Dani Baah have been suspended as Flagbearer and National Chairman respectively.

This follows earlier reports that the PNC reinstated Janet Nabla as General Secretary of the party and suspended the two.

In a press release issued by the National Chairman of the party, former General Secretary Janet Nabla is still under indefinite suspension following a meeting held on August 8, 2021, at the GNAT Hall in Accra by the National Executive Committee of the party.

The National Chairman in his statement said, the widely publicised meeting in Kumasi that the former General Secretary has been reinstated and Mr David Apasera together with Mr Moses Dani Baah have been suspended cannot pass for a National Executive Committee – NEC meeting and must be treated with the contempt that it deserves.

“As far as the PNC is concerned, there has not been any notice or invitation for a National Executive Committee meeting sanctioned by the leader and National Chairman or any organ or group within the party as stipulated by Article 45(1)(a) of the party Constitution,” the statement said.
