The Ministry for the Interior has announced the commencement of a nationwide recruitment exercise for four key security agencies: the Ghana Police Service, Ghana Prisons Service, Ghana National Fire Service, and Ghana Immigration Service.
According to a statement released by the ministry, applications will be accepted from November 15 to December 15 as part of efforts to bolster the country’s internal security framework and enhance public safety.
The ministry stated that the recruitment drive aims to “strengthen Ghana’s internal security architecture, enhance public safety, and promote effective service delivery across all security agencies.”
It further invited “suitably qualified, disciplined, and patriotic Ghanaian citizens who desire to serve the nation with integrity, professionalism, and dedication” to apply within the stipulated period.
Details regarding vacancies, qualifications, and application procedures for each service will be provided in due course.
Applicants have been advised to carefully review all eligibility criteria before submitting their applications.
The ministry also cautioned prospective applicants against engaging with individuals or groups claiming they can influence the recruitment process for money.
It emphasised that no fees are charged at any stage of the exercise, and anyone found submitting false documents or dealing with middlemen would face automatic disqualification and possible prosecution.
“Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted and invited for screening, aptitude tests, and background verification,” the Ministry added.
