Students of Beacon Springs Christian International School in Accra have received a major boost in their environmental innovation journey as Ikraft Artz, a creative arts brand, supported winners of the BotaeX Initiative’s Green Business Showcase and Mini Poster Challenge.
The support came as part of the BotaeX Initiative’s mission to empower Junior High School students to design creative, sustainable solutions to local environmental challenges. The pilot program, currently running at the school, blends entrepreneurship, eco-awareness, and innovation to nurture a new generation of young problem-solvers.
Celebrating Creativity and Eco-Innovation
During the Green Business Showcase, students presented posters and business ideas focused on solving environmental problems such as plastic waste, pollution, and deforestation. Their posters reflected strong creativity and a growing understanding of sustainability.
Ikraft Artz stepped in to offer special prizes for outstanding posters—encouraging the students’ artistic talents while motivating them to keep pursuing creative solutions to real environmental issues.
Inspiring Students Through Personal Stories
The Founder of Ikraft Artz, Deborah Agyeiwaa Asiedu, personally joined the event to share her entrepreneurial journey. She spoke about the challenges she overcame, the importance of perseverance, and the power of creativity.
Deborah also highlighted how Ikraft Artz’s paper bag products contribute to environmental sustainability by reducing reliance on plastic, promoting eco-friendly alternatives, and encouraging responsible consumption. Her message to the students was clear:
“Believe in your dreams and make the best of your skills. Your ideas have the power to change the world, and now is the time to start.”
Her story inspired the students and reinforced the values of hard work, innovation, and environmental responsibility.

Speaking after the showcase, BotaeX Lead Daryl Kwawu expressed gratitude for the support and emphasized the importance of partnerships:
