
Nigerian singer, Ikuforiji Olaitan Abdul Rahman, professionally known as Oxlade has disclosed that he selects his song titles to capture the essence of African vibes.
In an interview on Daybreak Hitz with Andy Dosty, he disclosed what inspires the choice of the titles of his songs, saying that he makes sure to hand-pick titles that embody the true African spirit.
“I pronounce words in the most African way,” he declared.
The Kulosa hitmaker further explained that as an African descendant, he tries to keep that African essence in his lyrics to make people understand where he is from without having to mention it.
According to him, Africa has unique traits. “We are extra, original and authentic,” he said.
“I intentionally give my titles the most African form,” he added.
