Hyundai Motors Ghana unveils all-new 2026 Palisade in Accra

Hyundai Motors & Investments Ghana Limited has officially launched the all-new 2026 Hyundai Palisade, marking a major step in the brand’s commitment to delivering world-class vehicles and supporting the Ghanaian economy.

Speaking at the launch event in Accra, Country Manager Ganesh Y. Phadale said the new addition reinforces Hyundai’s strategy of providing advanced mobility solutions, while creating opportunities for the local automotive industry.

“The launch of the 2026 Palisade is not only about introducing a new model to the market, but also about supporting Ghana’s economy through job creation, after-sales services, and increased investment in the automotive value chain,” he noted.

A Bigger, Smarter SUV

The 2026 Hyundai Palisade is the latest version of the company’s flagship SUV, arriving with a bold new design, improved comfort, and cutting-edge technology. It comes with both a 3.5-litre V6 engine and, for the first time, a hybrid option that combines a turbocharged 2.5-litre engine with electric power for greater fuel efficiency.

With seating for up to eight passengers, the Palisade is designed for large families and professionals seeking extra space. Passengers benefit from ventilated and heated seats, multiple USB-C charging ports in every row, and a premium interior that includes dual 12.3-inch curved displays for infotainment and driving information.

Technology & Safety

Hyundai has equipped the Palisade with the latest driver-assistance systems such as Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, Blind-Spot Collision Warning, Lane Keeping Assist, and Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Avoidance. The SUV also supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, comes with a built-in dashcam, and offers over-the-air software updates.

The vehicle is built to handle diverse road conditions, with Hyundai’s HTRAC all-wheel-drive system and terrain modes like Mud and Sand, making it ideal for Ghana’s varying terrains.

Boosting Local Impact

According to Mr. Phadale, Hyundai Ghana will back the new Palisade with a 5-year/100,000-kilometre warranty, ensuring peace of mind for buyers. The company also expects the launch to stimulate demand for local showrooms, spare parts supply, and servicing, while creating new jobs in sales and technical support.

A Strong Market Entry

The 2026 Palisade enters a competitive SUV market but stands out with its luxurious design, hybrid powertrain, and advanced safety features. It is expected to appeal to families, corporate executives, and SUV enthusiasts seeking a blend of performance, style, and technology.

Prices for the new model will depend on the chosen trim level and prevailing import duties.
