Patrons of hospitality services no longer seek mass-produced services; they want tailor-made services and products that cater to their personal aspirations and peculiar needs, and if you are doing otherwise, you definitely have set yourself an uphill task.

That is the conviction of 52-year old Isaac Hayford, architect and CEO of Brynx Haven Hotels in Accra and Cape Coast.

On the occasion of the official launch in Accra at the weekend of the second in what is planned to be a chain of boutique hotels consciously dotted around the country, Isaac Hayford seized the occasion to share some insights on why the industry may have been among the most hit businesses these past Covid years.

“Patrons are seeking out very customised services, personalised to cater for their unique needs. It is not the one size fits all service anymore, they want highly specialised services or products, and that is what we stand for.”

Tucked away in the quieter residential environs of Ashieyie near Adenta, the alluring Brynx Haven Accra is a nine-bedroom masterpiece exquisitely crafted for the client who does not wish to travel too far out of Accra to relax.

Boasting of five executive rooms and four standard rooms, Brynx Haven’s rooms have unique ambiance, gorgeous space and nicely crafted closets and bathrooms full of complimentary pampering for a home away from home treat.

Aside from the main kitchen in the facility, there is a bespoke kitchen indoor that allows guests to interact with the chef and be part of the meals preparation – in effect, you know what you will be eating.

There are the regulars – large screen televisions in the rooms and lounges coupled with beautiful art pieces. There is DSTV, plus you can also ask for the latest movies for your exclusive enjoyment at no extra cost. There is also a Cold Room for extra privacy.

Surrounded by a small band of entrepreneurs, family, friends and old school mates, CEO Isaac Hayford who officially launched the hotel said for many a patron, health needs are foremost and non-negotiable.

“Someone may be diabetic and they would not desire certain ingredients in their meals. It should be possible to design something healthy and acceptable for this person ready to spend their own hard-earned money. You dare not force them to eat from a pool. No, it is no longer one-size fits all. We are talking health,” he said.
