Hearts

Ghanaian football powerhouses Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko have advanced to the Round of 32 in the 2024/25 MTN FA Cup after securing dominant victories in their respective matches.

Asante Kotoko triumphed 2-0 over Future Stars at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, with a second-half brace from Albert Amoah. After a goalless first half, Amoah broke the deadlock in the 65th minute, converting a precise through ball from Dauda Saaka. He doubled his tally in the 86th minute with a powerful strike into the top corner to seal the win for the Porcupine Warriors.

In Accra, Hearts of Oak delivered an impressive performance, thrashing Immigration FC 4-0. Mawuli Wayo netted a brace, with Martin Karikari and Stephen Appiah Asare also getting on the scoresheet, ensuring an emphatic victory for the Phobians.

Other teams that have progressed to the Round of 32 include King Faisal, Nations FC, Dreams FC, FC Nania, Golden Kick, and Danbort FC.
