Speaking at a welcoming ceremony in Accra on Tuesday, October 14, the Deputy Minister for Health, Professor Dr Grace Ayensu-Danquah, described the visit as a powerful symbol of innovation, compassion, and global partnership in healthcare.

She noted that Ghana’s long-standing collaboration with Orbis International has led to the training of several ophthalmologists, nurses, and biomedical engineers, while providing sight-saving treatment to thousands of Ghanaians over the years.
