The Minister for Health, Kwabena Mintah Akandoh, has chaired an additional two-day stakeholder engagement to deepen discussions on Ghana’s flagship Agenda 111 health infrastructure programme.
The engagement focused on findings from the Agenda 111 audit report conducted by Audit and Evaluation Services Limited (AESL), giving stakeholders the opportunity to review, clarify and align on key audit outcomes.
Discussions also centred on the proposed introduction of a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) management system for hospital equipment, a move expected to improve efficiency, maintenance and value for money across health facilities.
The extended engagement underscores the government’s commitment to transparency, accountability and the sustainable management of investments in the health sector.
