GT Music Concert lights up Accra as Ghana and Nigeria’s stars share one stage

Music, lights and star power lit up the Accra Sports Stadium on December 19 as Guaranty Trust Bank hosted the 2025 edition of the GT Music Concert, drawing thousands of music lovers for a night of thrilling performances and cultural celebration.

The annual concert brought together a powerful line-up of top Ghanaian and Nigerian artistes, including Sarkodie, Shatta Wale, King Promise, R2Bees and Patoranking, alongside Nigerian stars Burna Boy, Ayra Starr, Fireboy DML and Joeboy. The mix of Afrobeats, dancehall and rap kept the crowd on its feet from start to finish.

From the opening act to the final performance, the atmosphere inside the stadium was electric. Fans sang along to hit songs, danced nonstop and waved their phones in the air as each artiste delivered energetic sets that drew loud cheers from the packed venue.

Ghana’s homegrown stars set the pace with commanding performances that showcased the depth of local talent, while Nigeria’s hitmakers added extra flavour, turning the stadium into a massive sing-along and reinforcing the strong musical connection between the two countries.

Beyond the entertainment, the GT Music Concert forms part of Guaranty Trust Bank’s commitment to customer appreciation and youth engagement, using music as a platform to connect with young people and celebrate creativity across Africa. The event is also aimed at giving back to customers and the public, while promoting unity through shared cultural experiences.
