Nations FC goalkeeper Rabin Ousmane Sanon has been named the Ghana Premier League Goalkeeper of the Month for April by the Ex-National Goalkeepers Union (NEGO).
This marks the first time the Burkinabé goalkeeper has received the accolade.
Sanon was instrumental in Nations FC’s strong run throughout the month, leading his side to four wins in five matches and helping them climb to the top of the league table with 12 points.
He kept four clean sheets—three of them coming consecutively against Karela United, Legon Cities, and Accra Lions—and conceded only once in April, in a 1-1 draw against Young Apostles.
For his outstanding performance, Sanon will be awarded a pair of goalkeeper gloves, a branded towel, water bottle, and T-shirt, courtesy of the Ex-National Goalkeepers Union.
