Government is expanding facilities for Technical and Vocational Education and Training(TVET) to increase enrolment across the country.

The Member of Parliament for Kumawu Constituency in the Ashanti Region, Philip Basoah, says the government is investing GHC3.1 million cedis to improve TVET in the area.

He urges constituents to take advantage of government’s intervention to acquire employable skills.

According to the MP for Kumawu, the government is committed to training and equipping the youth with employable skills, especially those who could not make it to the tertiary level.

Philip Basoah distributed training equipment to master-artisans in the Constituency to resource them.

He says many youths are willing to acquire employable skills but are challenged in affording the cost of acquiring equipment.

Mr. Basoah advised parents to take interest in training the children for a better Ghana.
