As part of activities for the celebrations of the 1st National Tourism Customer Service Week scheduled from the 4th to 8th October 2021 in the Tourism and Hospitality Sector, Goldstar Air and Service Excellence Foundation(SEF), made a joint presentation of Covid 19 PPE’s to the Ridge hospital in Accra.
The donation was not only for the week, but also as part of their corporate social responsibility to enhancing the fight against Covid 19.
The presentation was done by Mrs Stella Apenteng and Mr Caleb Koffi to the Medical Director Dr Emmanuel K. Srofenyoh and his team at the Greater Accra Regional Ridge Hospital.
Goldstar Air is a wholly owned Ghanaian airline and will be initially flying to twelve destinations and with the National Customer service team will be promoting Ghana on all our inbound and outbound flights on our screens and on billboards at all our intended destinations and also our cabin crew will be selling made in Ghana goods on board as well as promoting Ghana culture to the rest of the world, aimed at making passengers smile when leaving offices and aircrafts.
Goldstar Air Care foundation will also be adapting and supporting some tourism sites for a face lift to become international standard.
The airline will work closely with the tourism related organizations to improve the arrivals of tourists to Ghana and also create employment for the youth in the country.
The airline is due to commence the Goldstar City Project in the Northern Regional Capital, Tamale soon.
The Airline is set to construct a 250 x 250 x 75 hanger in Tamale to cater for the maintenance, repairs and refurbishment of aircrafts which will be named after the National Chief Imam, Sheikh Osmanu Nuhu Sharabutu.
Present at the presentation is Edmond Lamptey, Rapheal Quaynor, Edwin Lamptey, John Ashong Mettle, Excel and some
staff of the hospital.
