VFS Global has officially opened its new, centrally‑located visa application centre on the Ground Floor of The Grand Oyeeman, South Liberation Link in Accra. Operational since July 2024, the facility consolidates visa services for 15 countries under one roof, offering Ghanaian travellers enhanced convenience, security and comfort.

Designed to meet the rapidly growing demand for outbound travel from Ghana, the Accra centre boasts high‑security controls, ample parking and a team of professionally trained staff dedicated to efficient, friendly service. “As part of our commitment to excellence across Africa, this facility is a testament to our ability to cater effectively to Ghana’s outbound travel market,” said Mr. Alok Singhal, Head of Sub‑Saharan Africa at VFS Global. “We are confident customers will enjoy a memorable experience, accessing innovative and customised value‑added services in comfort.”

At the new centre, applicants can process visas for: Australia; Croatia; the Czech Republic; Denmark (including Finland, Sweden, the Faroe Islands, Greenland and Iceland); the United Arab Emirates (through Dubai’s Visa Processing Centre); Ireland; Italy; Malta; Norway; South Africa; Switzerland (representing Belgium); the Netherlands (representing Austria, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Poland and Portugal); Ukraine; and the United Kingdom.

For travellers seeking a premium experience, the Accra facility houses three dedicated lounges—for Italy, Schengen countries and the UK—where clients can complete their applications in a private, relaxed setting. In‑home or in‑office application submission is also available via VFS Global’s Visa‑At‑Your‑Doorstep service (for Denmark, South Africa and Switzerland visas) and On‑Demand Mobile Visa service (for UK visas).
