Ghana will take on South Africa’s Bafana Bafana on December 16, 2025, in an international friendly at a venue yet to be confirmed.
The match, which comes off in Gauteng, forms part of the hosts’ preparations ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations which begins on December 21.
Bafana Bafana are drawn in Group B alongside Egypt, Angola and Zimbabwe for the tournament, which will be held in Morocco.
Meanwhile, the Black Stars missed out on this year’s continental showpiece – after going six matches without a win in the qualifiers – for the first time since 2004.
However, head coach Otto Addo will use the match to assess his squad ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Ghana have been paired with England, Croatia and Panama in Group L for next year’s Mundial.
