Ghanaian players abroad are hitting top form ahead of the crucial World Cup qualifiers against Chad and Madagascar between March 17 and 25, 2025.

Here’s a roundup of the standout performers from the weekend.

Without scoring or assisting, Mohammed Kudus delivered his best performance for West Ham in a long time during their surprise 1-0 victory over Arsenal at the Emirates. His compatriot, Thomas Partey, also impressed for the Gunners despite the defeat.

In La Liga, Inaki Williams ended his 12-game goal drought with a goal and an assist in Athletic Club’s 7-1 demolition of Real Valladolid. Joseph Aidoo, playing for Valladolid, was substituted after 60 minutes. Williams now has five goals and eight assists in La Liga, ranking second for most assists in the league.

Defender Denis Odoi netted his first goal for Royal Antwerp, helping them secure a 2-2 draw against OH Leuven in the Belgian top flight. The 36-year-old has also contributed two assists in 18 league games since joining in the summer.

In Belgium, midfielder Abu Francis continued his impressive form for Cercle Brugge, winning the most tackles in their 1-1 draw with Kortrijk.

Former Ghana youth star Zubairu Ibrahim scored his eighth league goal for Partizan in a thrilling 3-3 draw against Red Star Belgrade in the Serbian league. The 20-year-old has also registered three assists in 21 league games since joining Partizan last summer.
