Ghanaian players across Europe are beginning to discover their fates as the season enters its business end, with both relegation and European qualification at stake.

Ernest Nuamah’s season appears to have come to an abrupt end after he sustained an injury.

Kamaldeen Sulemana registered his first assist of the season for Southampton, but it was not enough, as a 3-1 defeat to Tottenham on Sunday confirmed the Saints’ relegation with seven games to spare—the earliest in Premier League history.

Sulemana, who has one goal and one assist in the league, will be going down with Southampton for the second time, having previously done so two seasons prior to the 2024/25 campaign.
