Ghanaian Players Abroad: Issahaku scores first goal in 16 months as Seidu makes long-awaited injury return

Ghanaian players across Europe were in action for their clubs over the weekend, with some producing decisive performances that inspired their teams to victory. Here is a wrap of their exploits between Friday, August 22, and Sunday, August 24.

Mohammed Kudus also impressed for Tottenham, completing the most dribbles (3) as Spurs stunned Manchester City 2-0 at the Etihad.

In the Championship, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku scored a stunning strike to seal Leicester’s 1-0 win over Charlton. It was his first goal in 16 months, since netting against Southampton in April 2024. During that period, he missed 27 league games due to injury. Jordan Ayew also featured in that game.

Meanwhile, Brandon Thomas-Asante scored once and provided two assists as Coventry thrashed QPR 7-1, taking his tally to two goals and two assists in three games.
