Ghana Premier League side Bibiani GoldStars have announced the appointment of Frimpong Manso following the official dismissal of Michael Osei as head coach.

Osei had been in charge at the club last season and guided them to another season in Ghana’s top flight as they finished fifth last term.

However, things have not gone to plan this season for the Miners with the club occupying the 16th position after 13 games played. Osei had initially been told to step aside as the early season struggles continued.

The club has announced his departure with former Bofoakwa Tano boss Manso taking up his role at the Bibiani-based club.

Manso was stripped of his duties at Bofoakwa following a draw with rivals Nsoatreman Football Club last month.

His immediate task with GoldStars will be the league game against Dreams Football Club.
