AiDiA and the German Embassy in Ghana co hosted an impactful Entrepreneurship Ecosystem Mixer at the Ambassador’s residence, creating a dynamic space for founders, industry leaders, academics, development partners and members of the diaspora to explore opportunities for deeper collaboration in innovation and enterprise.
The evening honoured Zenobia Asmah of ZENAGS Organics, whose chemical free haircare company in Cape Coast was celebrated for its dedication to health and sustainable beauty.
Her recognition captured the event’s spirit of encouraging African led innovation with global relevance.
Leonard Konrad Adomako, COO and Founding Member of AiDiA, delivered opening remarks focused on the importance of building structures that support entrepreneurial success across borders.
He also spoke about the Sustainable Futures Innovation Alliance, a separate partnership between AiDiA and the University of Cape Coast designed to develop internationally minded entrepreneurs.
German Ambassador Frederik Landshöft welcomed guests and emphasized the Embassy’s commitment to fostering economic and innovation partnerships with Ghana.
He praised AiDiA for creating inclusive and forward looking platforms that strengthen ties between both countries.
Kofi Okyere Darko, Presidential Adviser on Diaspora Affairs, encouraged participants to use their global experiences to build ventures that create measurable impact.
He commended AiDiA’s role in enhancing diaspora involvement in national development.
The panel discussion added depth to the evening, as Dr Michael Blank from AHK Ghana, Till Schmeing from GIZ Ghana, Augustina Busiah of Ohemaa Green Housing and Mathias Charles of AkoFresh shared insights on collaboration, sustainability, youth innovation and the realities of scaling African ventures.
The panel was moderated by Gloria Niiquaye, CEO of COMESO.
Chantel Lahmer from the German Embassy moderated the overall event, ensuring a smooth flow of discussions, while Prof Gloria Agyapong represented the University of Cape Coast and spoke about the university’s commitment to expanding international entrepreneurship learning opportunities.
With more than seventy leaders from business, academia, development cooperation and the diaspora in attendance, the mixer demonstrated strong collective interest in strengthening the Ghana–Germany innovation ecosystem.
AiDiA reaffirmed its mission to provide visibility, skills, networks and access to African and diaspora founders and announced its intention to deepen collaboration, expand digital engagement and accelerate cross border entrepreneurial growth.
