The Ghanaian Embassy in Doha has appealed to Ghanaians affected by Qatar’s airspace closure and the suspension of regular commercial flights to urgently provide their travel information to the mission.
In a statement issued on Thursday, March 12, the Embassy explained that the appeal follows directives from Qatari authorities after disruptions to flight operations.
Ghanaians holding valid tickets with Qatar Airways who are either in transit in Doha or residing in the country awaiting departure are requested to submit their details to the Embassy.

This includes full names, biodata pages of passports, and copies of tickets. Submissions should be sent via email to [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]).
“The Embassy of Ghana wishes to inform citizens affected by the closure of airspace and suspension of regular flights in Qatar that the host authorities have instructed all Ghanaians with valid Qatar Airways tickets, whether in transit or awaiting departure, to provide their names, passport biodata pages, and ticket copies to the Embassy to facilitate their return to Ghana or onward destinations,” the notice said.
The Embassy added that the information will allow it to liaise with relevant authorities to coordinate travel arrangements and assist citizens in departing Doha as soon as possible.
