
Ghana defender Maxwell Woledzi has been adjudged Player of the Year at Norwegian club Fredrikstad FK for the season.
The 24-year-old has made 37 appearances in all competitions, helping Fredrikstad finish sixth in the Norwegian league standings with one game left in the campaign.
The centre-back has also been named in the Eliteserien Team of the Year.
The former FC Nordsjaelland defender joined Fredrikstad in 2023, with his current contract running until 2026.
Reports indicate that Major League Soccer side Nashville SC, along with several European clubs, are interested in securing his services.
Meanwhile, Woledzi is now focused on his next fixture against Bodo/Glimt on Sunday, November 30.
