Black Queens forward Doris Boaduwaa was adjudged the Female Player of the Year at the 2025 Ghana Football Awards.
The seventh edition of the award ceremony took place at the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Centre on Saturday, June 14.
Boduwaa beat competition from national teammate Alice Kusi as well as Police Ladies’ Mary Berko.
Despite being unable to win the Israeli Premier League in her debut season, the former Hasaacas Ladies star girl was the top scorer for Hapoel Jerusalem, scoring 18 times for the club.
She has also been a constant figure in the Black Queens setup despite the shaky start under Kim Lars Bjorkegren.
Boaduwaa will be looking to have an impact on the team when they go to Morocco for the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.
