The Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced that Friday, 7th March 2025, will be a holiday for all schoolchildren across the country.
This decision has been made to give students a well-deserved break following their rigorous preparations for the Independence Day activities.
In a statement, GES confirmed that schools will resume on Monday, 10th March 2025, after the holiday.
Parents and guardians have been urged to take note of this change to the school schedule and plan accordingly.
The GES expressed its apologies for any inconvenience the short break might cause, emphasising that it is an important step to ensure students are well-rested after the busy period leading up to Ghana’s 68th Independence Anniversary celebrations.
