The Greater Accra Regional Football Association (GARFA) in partnership with Ashlid Orbita, have unveiled the Official Match Balls for the 2024/25 football season.
Each club under GARFA would receive six balls for the season, three for training sessions and an extra three to ensure readiness on match days.
This is the second time both parties are having partnership, as they both joined forces for the 2021/2022 GARFA Division Two Middle League.
Mr. Samuel Aboabire, GARFA Chairman commended the Chief Executive Officer of Ashlid Enterprise, Mr. Fredrick Aglago Atsu for his support during his tenure.
“Today, we celebrate not just a partnership, but a commitment to excellence for the next three years.”
Mr. Aboabire said “they would receive a total of 1,800 footballs, out of which 500 balls would be received in the first year, 600 and 700 balls in the second and third year respectively”.
He emphasized the significance of this collaboration, saying “football is all about the balls. Starting from match day one, across 40 exhilarating matches in Greater Accra, Ashlid balls would reign supreme at all venues”.
The new Ashlid Orbita design boasts of an innovative 8-panel construction, enhancing player touch and control for those game changing moments.
These balls were engineered for excellence, providing superior performance in any weather.
With a sleek white body adorned with bold red strips, the Ashlid Balls proudly showcase GARFA’s vibrant colours, while special designs would grace the GARFA Women’s League and Middle League.
