FiDCon 2025 etablishes new standard for creative-tech experiences in Ghana

FiDCon 2025 delivered a defining moment for Ghana’s creative and technology landscape, uniting designers, engineers, developers, students, founders, and cultural leaders at the R. S. Amegashie Auditorium, University of Ghana.

Attendance ranged between 500 and 1,000 people who experienced a tightly curated program shaped around the theme Design, Technology, and Culture Shaping the Future.

Workshops that grounded the day in practical skill-building

The morning opened with two hands-on workshops that anchored the conference in practical learning.

Bright Etornam Sunu led Serverless Fundamentals, a technical session designed to give attendees a clear understanding of modern serverless architecture and its impact on scalable product development.

Vanessa O’Hara Aidoo of MTN Ghana facilitated Designing Trust at Scale, a workshop focused on trust-centered design, communication systems, and product decisions that support user confidence at scale.

Filmmaker and creative director Nana Kofi Asihene followed with Directors’ Cut, a cinematic deep dive into visual storytelling, cultural influence, and the creative discipline behind some of Ghana’s most impactful work.

This momentum continued into Creator Playbook Live, a fast-paced main stage conversation with Dessy Ocean, Areyouagod, and Reagan Marfo on strategy, authenticity, and the future of content creation in Africa’s evolving digital landscape.

The cultural energy rose further during Sound, Strategy & Culture, presented by Baves O, and Kelalie of Crux Global. The session explored how music, identity, and strategic storytelling influence Africa’s creative industries.
