Inflation for February 2025 has reduced marginally to 23.1 per cent from the 23.5 percent recorded in January this year.

This was influenced by a reduction in food inflation by 1.8 per cent.

Addressing journalists a while ago, Government Statistician, Prof Samuel Kobina Anim, said constant decline in food inflation will impact the overall figure.

“In the last four months, you’ve seen consistent decline in food inflation on a month on month basis, declining by 2.0 percentage points between November 2024 and February 2025,” Annim said.

He explained that the annual inflation rate in February was the third-highest in the last 10 months, he added.
