Dr Rejoice Wodomdedzi Foli, a United Nations Global Peace Ambassador and Protocol and Diplomatic Affairs Trainer for the Word of Life Christian Ministries International Consortium Cabinet (WOLMI I.C.C)—a United Nations-accredited agency based in New York—has been reappointed to serve a second consecutive term on the Governing Council of the Institute of Directors-Ghana (IoD-Gh).
Her reappointment is in recognition of her outstanding contributions to the growth and development of the Institute during her initial tenure from 2023 to 2025.
The colourful but brief investiture ceremony took place on Friday, 4th July 2025, at the Engineering Centre, Roman Ridge, Accra. It marked the official induction of the new IoD-Gh President and Council members.

Dr Foli, a Corporate Risk and Governance Consultant and WOLMI I.C.C Special Envoy to Ghana, distinguished herself in her previous role as Secretary of the Risk Committee and member of the Governance, Legal & Ethics Committee of the Council.
She also previously served on the Regional Outreach Committee and the Educational Capacity Development and Research Committee (ECDR), where she acted as Secretary and played a key role in the development of an SME Mentorship Programme.

Notably, she was appointed Project Manager for the development of Ghana’s National Corporate Governance Code in 2022 under the umbrella of IoD-Gh.
Dr Foli, who is also a licensed psychologist and Project Management Advisor, has been a strong advocate for ESG and SDG initiatives.
She is passionate about grassroots and youth mobilisation, supporting SMEs, and advising on governance and sustainable development strategies.
A recipient of the prestigious World Humanitarian Award, Dr Foli has held several leadership roles, including as Board Member of Women in Law and Development in Africa (WiLDAF), Board Member of the Street Children Empowerment Foundation (SCEF), and Project Director with over 15 years’ experience working on UN, AU, and EU-backed community development initiatives across the health, STEM, TVET, and banking sectors.

Joining her on the IoD-Gh Governing Council are Mrs Mary Asare-Yeboah, F.IoD (President); Mr Michael Justice Ashong, F.IoD (Vice President); Mr Ekow Peterson Afedzie, F.IoD; Mr Herbert Lawson, M.IoD; Mr Kofi Asumadu-Apenteng, M.IoD; Apostle Dr Christopher Kwame Sokpor, M.IoD; and Mr Robert O.
