Former Black Stars assistant coach, Mas-Ud Didi Dramani, has heaped praise on Kamaldeen Sulemana following his move to Serie A side Atalanta.
The Ghanaian winger completed a four-year deal worth $18 million, switching from English side Southampton to the Italian outfit.
In an exclusive interview with JoySports’ Atsu Tamakloe, Dramani who coached Sulemana during his time at FC Nordsjælland, expressed confidence in the player’s ability to thrive in Italy.
“He is very tactical, with all the elements both offensively and defensively,” Dramani said.
“He will be better in that league (Serie A). I’m positive about that.”

Sulemana was one of several players mentored by Dramani, alongside Mohammed Kudus, Abu Francis, and Danish side, Nordsdjaelland.
When asked about Sulemana’s pace and how it could benefit him in Italian football, Dramani added:
“Speed is something we train players on, but if a player has it naturally, it’s a huge advantage. Once you have that muscle group, you’re already favoured. He will succeed he’s still very young.”
Kamaldeen Sulemana will team up with fellow Ghanaian Ibrahim Sulemana at Atalanta.
Dramani was then the club’s assistant coach and head of the club’s player assimilation program.
