Ghana international Denis Odoi has parted ways with Belgian Pro League side Royal Antwerp ahead of the 2025/26 season.
The 37-year-old defender mutually agreed to terminate his contract with the club, which was originally set to run for another year.
“Denis Odoi (37) is leaving RAFC,” Antwerp said in a statement on Instagram.
“Although Odoi still had a contract for one season, the player and club have decided by mutual agreement to terminate that agreement. RAFC would like to thank Denis for his efforts last season and wish him every success in his further career.”
Odoi also said: “Personal reasons are behind the termination of the contract. I thank the club for their understanding and the confidence they had in me. To the staff, my teammates, and everyone at the club—thank you for the great time at the Bosuil. And to the fans, I felt your support from day one. You are fantastic.”
Odoi, who has previously played for Fulham and Club Brugge, is now a free agent.
