Davida Roofing Systems, one of Ghana’s foremost roofing companies, has donated polytanks to Sokode Senior High Technical School to improve access to clean, safe water on campus.

The donation forms part of Phase 1 of the ‘Water for All’ initiative spearheaded by the Volta Regional Minister, Hon. James Gunu, which seeks to extend potable water to underserved communities, schools, and institutions across the region.

Led by its CEO, Mr David Kwame Aziago, Davida Roofing Systems donated in recognition of the critical role a reliable water supply plays in fostering a productive teaching and learning environment.

“This gesture symbolises our steadfast support for education and our commitment to ensuring students have access to potable water for a brighter future,” said Mr Aziago.

“It goes beyond corporate social responsibility — it’s about investing in the next generation.”

Mr Aziago also applauded the Volta Regional Minister for launching a timely and impactful initiative to close the water accessibility gap.

The Volta Regional Director of Education, Mr Francis Agbemadi, speaking on behalf of the school’s headmaster, Mr Isaac Kofi Dzidzienyo, expressed gratitude for the donation. “We are truly grateful for this generous support from the Minister and Davida Roofing Systems. These polytanks will go a long way in improving campus life and supporting academic excellence.”

Davida Roofing Systems has consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to community development. The company recently funded renovation works at UNMISS GH 11’s Battle Training Camp in Bundase, supplied materials worth GHS 450,000 for the Mepe Resettlement Project, donated food to security service personnel, and supported several orphanages across the country.

Giving back remains a core value of the company, as it continues to invest in meaningful projects that uplift Ghanaian communities.
