The minister of Railways Development, Hon. Joe Ghartey has donated relief items to four district assemblies in the Ga East and North tongue district assemblies.

The District that benefited were North Tongue district Assembly, Osudoku district Assembly, Prampram district Assembly and the Kpone Katamanso district Assembly.

Addressing the chiefs of the Dorfor tradition area, the minister stated that the relief items and other logistics presented were to help combat the coronavirus in the area.

Some of the items presented were Veronica bucket, Hand sanitizer, Liquid soap, Bag of rice, and many other things.
The chief of the Dorfor traditional area, Mankrado v acknowledged the minister for the timely intervention and promised to continue to educate his people to adhere to the directives from the government and the health officers.

 

He also acknowledged the government for his good work for extending the railway lines to the region.
The chief of the Osudoku traditional area however appealed to the government to find solutions to some deplorable roads in the area to ease transport challenges.
