There have been 498 new cases of coronavirus recorded within the last 24 hours.
The latest update by the Ghana Health Service (GHS) on its website puts the total figure at 10,856 from the previous 10,358 on Thursday.
The Service was quiet on the source of the latest cases but the distribution is spread among the Greater Accra, Ashanti and Western regions with the Upper East Region recording over 80 cases.
There are no deaths but six patients are in “critical” conditions while 16 are in “severe” conditions. Four continue to be on ventilators.
About 97 others have recovered from the disease, bringing the total number of recoveries to 3,921.

The Service has hinted that the country would have to review its measures in slowing the spread of the virus.
