In the quest for an effective implementation of Ghana’s newly launched 24-Hour Economy policy, Berkha Africa, in collaboration with the Institute of Directors-Ghana (IoD-Gh), is set to host a Leadership Dialogue Breakfast Meeting in Accra to discuss the practical execution of the policy.

The event, which would be held on Tuesday, 23rd July, 2025, at the Accra Marriott Hotel, on the theme, Innovating for Growth: Adapting Business Models to Ghana’s 24-Hour Economy, will bring together over 100 Board Chairs, CEOs, Directors, Regulators, and C-suite executives from strategic sectors including mining, finance, hospitality, manufacturing, and agro-processing.

The Dialogue Meeting comes at a pivotal time following the government’s launch of the 24-Hour Economy and Accelerated Export Development Programme (24H+), a transformative national initiative aimed at fostering around-the-clock productivity, job creation, and export competitiveness.

With $4 billion in projected investment and a target of 1.7 million quality jobs, the 24H+ policy is expected to reshape Ghana’s economic structure.

Mr. Augustus Gossie Tanoh will deliver the keynote address, offering insights into leveraging emerging opportunities and policy incentives within the 24-Hour Economy. Other high-level speakers include Prof. Michael Kpessa-Whyte, Director General, State Interests and Governance Authority, Dr. Bernice Welbeck, Executive Secretary, National Labour Commission, Dr. Alfred Braimah, CEO, IoD-Gh, and Scofray Nana Yaw Yeboah, President, International Coaching Federation (ICF) Ghana.

The meeting will focus on governance, ethical leadership, workforce transformation, risk management, and coaching for strategic growth, providing attendees with practical frameworks to realign their operations and strategies for Ghana’s round-the-clock economic future.

By facilitating this vital dialogue, Berkha Africa and IoD-Gh aim to equip institutional leaders with the tools, mindset, and partnerships necessary to adapt business models, improve productivity, and seize policy-driven opportunities that will define Ghana’s next era of industrial and economic growth.

We see this dialogue as an essential bridge between policy intent and actionable strategy for the private sector, said Dr. Senyo Yao Klutse-Doe, Programmes and Business Lead at Berkha Africa.

It will provide a rare opportunity for industry leaders to gain practical knowledge, deepen cross-sector collaboration, and realign their business models in response to the significant shifts that the 24-Hour Economy will demand,” he added.

The event is being organized with support from media partners including Joy FM, ChannelOne TV, and Business & Financial Times (BFT).
