The Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park has become the focus of renewed national and international attention as the Vice President of the Republic of Colombia, Francia Elena Márquez Mina, paid a visit to the historic site during her tour of Ghana.

Officials say the high-profile engagement is expected to boost tourism and further project the legacy of Dr Kwame Nkrumah, Ghana’s first president and a strong advocate for African unity.
