Brotherhood: I don’t think women are cheap

In Thursday night’s episode of Brotherhood on Joy Prime, the conversation took an explosive turn as host Kofi Hayford sat with Zeal, Alvin, and MC Wayne to tackle the controversial question: “Are women cheap?”

The discussion ignited strong emotions both in the studio and among viewers at home. From the very beginning, the three panellists shared bold, unfiltered opinions, all pointing in one direction.

According to the three men in the studio, the idea that women are “cheap” becomes “evident, especially when money comes into the picture.”

Their comments sparked instant reactions, pouring in through phone calls and online messages.

Women who called into the show passionately rejected the claim, insisting that genuine love still exists and that painting women as “cheap” reduces complex relationships to shallow assumptions.

Despite the backlash, the men doubled down on their stance.

“It’s just the reality,” MC Wayne argued. “Money changes the dynamics for many women, whether we want to admit it or not.”

Zeal seconded, adding that some women are easily swayed by financial influence.

“It’s not about disrespect,” he clarified. “It’s just what we’ve observed. A lot of decisions women make in relationships are tied to money.”

The tension rose by the minute as callers pushed back strongly.

One woman insisted, “A woman will love you genuinely. We are not cheap. Men need to stop generalising us.”

Several others echoed the same sentiment, challenging the panellists to reconsider their assumptions.

After nearly an hour of heated debate, Alvin, who had earlier been one of the loudest voices supporting the claim, took a surprising turn, admitting that their discussion may have been too general and too harsh.

By the end of the show, he stated plainly: “Women are not cheap.”

His admission shifted the tone in the studio, marking a rare moment of reflection on a show known for its bold and often uncompromising perspectives.

The panel closed the conversation by acknowledging that while there are women who may be influenced by money, there are just as many who are driven by genuine emotion, loyalty, and commitment.

The message was clear: conversations about women, value, and relationships are far deeper and more complex than a single label. And as always, Brotherhood delivered the raw honesty, tension, and revelations viewers tune in for every Thursday.
